WSB University has received funding for the project "Teaching Excellence - Program Rozwoju Kadry Dydaktycznej" within the framework of the Fund for Social Development Program, Priority 1 Qualifications, Measure 01.05 Qualifications in Higher Education.
The aim of the project is to implement a comprehensive system of support in the form of development of competencies and qualifications of academic teachers and staff carrying out teaching for the improvement of the model of practical training and skills of students of the WSB University for the development of the economy, green and digital transformation.
The implementation of the project will contribute to the reorientation and optimization of the students' education by integrating the goals of sustainable development into the didactic process at the WSB University, supporting the development of didactic methods based on problem solving (e.g.: Problem Based Learning, Design Thinking, WebQuest), selected as leading methods at the WSB University.
The support is directed to WSBU teachers and includes:
- Training to develop content, pedagogical, digital and sustainability skills,
- Study visits to prestigious foreign universities, including Nottingham Trent University, Politecnico di Milano, Maastricht University or Stanford University,
- Support from methodologists and teaching mentors,
- Participation of teachers in conferences and specialized training courses.
The long-term result will be an improved complementary model of practical education at the WSB University, based on innovative didactic methods, linked to horizontal education in the field of sustainable development and the use of digital tools supporting didactic methods.
WSB University informs about the possibility of reporting to the Managing Authority or Intermediate Body the suspicion of non-compliance of the project or activities of the Beneficiary with the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities signed in New York on December 13, 2006. (Journal of Laws of 2012, item 1169, as amended), hereinafter referred to as "CRPD". Signals, notifications or complaints regarding the occurrence of non-compliance of FERS projects with the provisions of the CRPD may be submitted by individuals (project participants or their lawyers and representatives), institutions participating in the implementation of European Union funds, the public party (associations, foundations), by means of (in each of the following cases, the notification shall be deemed to have been submitted in writing)
1) traditional mail - in the form of a letter sent to the address of the Ministry: Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy, 2/4 Wspólna St., 00-926 Warsaw, or at the address of the Intermediary: National Centre for Research and Development, ul. Chmielna 69, 00-801 Warsaw,
2) the e-puap mailbox of the Ministry of Economy and Regional Policy or the National Centre for Research and Development.
